Tulsa County DA, Parks Dept. Unveil ‘Pathway Of Hope’ Dedicated To Crime Victims

The Tulsa County District Attorney’s office and Tulsa County Parks Department unveiled a special memorial for crime victims Tuesday.

The “Pathway of Hope” is in Chandler Park and has a pollinator garden and rock pathway dedicated to the victims.

Crime victims and families of homicide victims welcome to write their loved one’s name on a rock to add to the garden.

District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler said this project has been years in the making.

“So, in my mind, this is an opportunity for all of us to put a thumb print down on what I hope to be a path towards hope,” Kunzweiler said.

Marsy’s Law for Oklahoma donated the rocks for the pathway.

The District Attorney’s office said they also hope to be able to plant flowers in the future.
