Fire crews responded to the scene of a building fire near East 21 Street and South Lewis Avenue early Thursday morning.

Seven units were on scene working to contain the blaze that spread to nearby trees surrounding the building.

It is currently unclear what led to the fire or if anyone was injured in the blaze.
