Mother Of Boy Taken From Newcastle Casino Arrested By Lighthorse Police

An early morning Amber Alert in Newscastle has led to the arrest of the man who took the child and the boy's mother.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol issued the Amber Alert when a 10-year-old was taken from a parking lot outside a Newcastle casino.

The boy was alone in a parked car when the man took him and the car.

Police found the two and the car at a gas station on SW 15th and Czech Hall.

News 9 has confirmed that the mother of the 10-year-old boy was arrested by Lighthorse Police.

The man who took the boy was arrested by Canadian County Sheriffs.

The mother of the boy taken this morning has been arrested by Lighthorse Police.

Police have found the child and the suspect. They are both in Canadian County Sheriff's custody.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has issued an Amber Alert out of Newcastle.

Police are searching for a 10-year-old boy. He is described as a white male, 5'4" and 125 pounds.

The child was last seen wearing black shorts with a blue polo.

They are looking for a 2016 black Lincoln MKX with a Oklahoma license plate, number BUH-868.

The suspect is a white man with sandy blond or red hair, with a beard and mustache. He is wearing a lime green Nike long sleeve shirt rolled up to his elbows and black pants..

According to police, the mother of the boy went into the casino leaving her child in the car. The car was then stolen by the suspect.

The car was last seen headed Southbound on Bailey.
