Tulsa Police are searching for at least one suspect who they said shot and killed a man Thursday night.

Officers responded to the Town Square Apartments near Peoria and Apache around 5 p.m. and found the victim in a breezeway.

Police said the man was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his head, where he died from his injuries.

Investigators are searching for shell casings, a weapon and any evidence that could help in the investigation. Officers described the apartment complex as a hostile environment.

Residents were upset and distraught, and a chaplain did show up to comfort them.

Police said they are searching for a suspect, but have not yet released details.
