Monday will be mostly sunny and mild, but blustery and cold weather is expected to make a return.

Here are the details from News On 6 Meteorologist Alan Crone:

The warmest weather day of the week is likely on Monday with highs reaching the lower to mid-60s. Sunshine is expected along with southwest winds near 10 to 20 mph before the next cold front moves into the area tonight bringing much colder weather. A series of systems will move across the state this week with some light wintry mix to snow chances for some locations.

The upper air flow will remain progressive with a stout wave passing across Texas during the day and night on Monday, another decent system moving across the state Wednesday evening and finally, another wave nearing Friday. The first should be too far south for any precipitation impact. The second wave has continued to show signals for a small swath of light snowfall near its track. The third currently moves across the area late Thursday night into Friday morning with a slight chance of light wintry mix.

Temps on Monday will be the warmest of the week with afternoon highs reaching the upper 50s and lower 60s with a sunshine-cloud mix. Southwest winds around 10 to 20 mph will be likely before another strong cold front moves across the area late Monday night into Tuesday morning bringing colder weather for the state. This cold air will be in place before the second upper-level wave drops from the Rockies across the state Wednesday evening. This wave also brings cold air aloft that will aid in some light wintry weather development near this track. Currently, the position of these features suggests some light precip developing across western OK Wednesday afternoon and tracking eastward before exiting early Thursday morning. The data suggest some light snow possible along and north of the I-40 corridor, including a mention for the Tulsa metro. The chance remains conservative for now and any snowfall would be mostly light for our part of the state. This will be a very narrow band of precipitation and track errors of the system will be high. Another wave is likely to move across the area Thursday evening and may also produce some precipitation. More on this system tomorrow.

Temps will be into the 20s and teens for morning lows midweek with Tuesday afternoon highs in the 30s and Wednesday reaching the lower to mid-30s. We're expecting to rebound this weekend with morning lows in the 30s and highs in the mid to upper 50s.
