Rep. Tom Cole Applauds Speaker Mike Johnson After House Passes Foreign Aid Package

Rep. Tom Cole (R-Norman) celebrated the passage of the House's $95 billion foreign aid package, commending Speaker Mike Johnson's leadership.

"He gave us a rule that is the structure, in which we considered all these different matters, where every single member got to vote the way they wanted to on every single issue," Cole—chair of the House Appropriations Committee—said on NBC's Face the Nation.

The foreign aid package included $61 billion in aid for Ukraine, $26 billion for Israel, and a provision that would ban Tik Tok. The legislation now heads to the Senate.
