Tulsa Prosecutors Charge 14-Year-Old Suspect As Adult In Deadly Chase, Crash

The 14-year-old suspect involved in a Tulsa pursuit that ended in a double fatal crash has been charged as an adult, documents say.

Authorities said Elias Gabriel Gonzales has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder, along with kidnapping and armed robbery charges from an incident two days earlier.

OHP said that Gonzales led them on a chase through Tulsa in a stolen truck on Friday, Feb. 26. Troopers said that when he crashed near 21st and Garnett, his vehicle hit an SUV, killing a mother and her teenage daughter inside and critically injuring another child in the car.
