Bixby Public Schools To Discuss $110 Million Bond Issue

Bixby Public Schools is holding a community meeting on Wednesday to discuss a more than $110 million bond issue on the ballot in February’s election.

If the bond passes, it would help build a new high school just south of Spartan stadium.

The bond also calls for upgrades to the football stadium and renovations to classrooms at other schools.

District leaders say the new high school would be ready by the Fall of 2024.

Voters will decide on the issue on February 8th.

Wednesday's meeting is set to take place at 6:30 p.m. at Bixby North Immediate School.
