6-Month-Old Injured In Car Crash; Tulsa Police Say Child Was Being Held In Chest Carrier

Tulsa police said a six-month-old baby was injured in a crash on Saturday evening.

A car collided with a truck near the Broken Arrow Expressway and Memorial Drive.

While police investigated the crash, officers discovered the driver, Donald Ramsey, had the child in a carrier on his chest while driving.

Police said the baby was injured when the airbag went off, but the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

Ramsey was arrested on a child endangerment complaint after he also admitted to taking prescription medication and cannabis within 24 hours of the crash.

The crash is still under investigation.
