The Washington County Fire Department announced the death of Fire Chief Todd Owens on Monday after 25 years of service.

Chief Owens founded the Owens and Company Volunteer Fire Department in Vera, Oklahoma, and previously served with the Northwest Rogers County Fire Department as Battalion Chief. The services for Chief Owens will be at Caney Valley High School Gym on Monday at 2 p.m.
